I bought this as a gift for a friend, and found it a very insightful choice. The packaging is delightful and the card (made of plant pulp) had beautiful and whimsical illustrations, which I knew my friend would love. Kudos to the creators for coming up with such a well thought through concept!
I'm in graduate school for a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy degree and, separately, I've spent years reading, listening, and doing work related to building and fostering healthy relationships. So much of what I've learned in my own personal journey and in my education journey is that things like this - something that makes you consciously stop and think about your actions, your communication skills, your needs and wants, your partner, and your relationship, and something that encourages you to communicate and connect clearly and with love to your partner - can be such a relationship savings, growing, and improving tool.This card game/set is so, so, so well made - from the questions it asks and activities it recommends to just the presentation and design of the set itself.I HIGHLY recommend this for anyone in a relationship and anyone who wants to put in some of that "work" required to keep a relationship happy and healthy.
This is a great weekly exercise to get to know your partner better. The questions go deep and pose questions you'd normally never think about. The card week- question and activity setup is simple to use and keep track of with the included cards and stickers. If you want to continue to learn more about your partner and find activities great for dates- this is perfect.
